I made a modification to it (added toasted pecans) and made small individual servings, I thought it was cuter!

I’m thankful for great food, great company, good health, and that I have more than one job!

    Delish.

I’ve had these baby carrots before, they were…..I don’t know…..baked, really soft and tender, and had a slight cinnamon-y taste to them. SO GOOD, I couldn’t stop eating them.

    good luck with the meal!

i tried your recipe for chicken soup… only i was seriously limited in ingredients. i just used potatoes, carrots, celery, leeks, and chicken bouillon.. tasted very… salty. im looking forward to trying more of your (simpler) recipes :)

I’m trying to figure out why you’re celebrating an American holiday.

And why I’m not eating that menu instead.

@gowan - I don’t normally, but my bf is american

@misobored - if it’s too salty, it has something to do with the chicken broth you bought. Did you use half water, half broth? Carrots, celery and leeks normally sweeten a soup very nicely. So does onions.

i’ve never glazed my carrots, and i probably never tried it either.  is it honey-glazed?

@siugoo - recipe link is in now! Very easy and good for small kitchens!

should satisfy your cravings, hee hee

@d_art - I used maple syrup, actually, but I would normally use honey. It’s very English to serve carrots with honey.

@kid1218 - I had everything timed perfectly! And then my guests were 30 mins late.
They don’t understand why that pisses me off. It’s like… leaving the plates on the pass and there’s no food runners.
