Hi Amanda,

Just stumbled across your blog and this is the first entry I read. OMG! I’m so envious! The other week I went to Tetsuya to eat and that was my first experience in a fine dining restaurant. It was a lovely experience but I can’t imagine what it would be like eating at El Bulli.. It’s my ultimate dream!

Thank you for making me moan and groan after every picture lol I look forward to reading more of your stuff..

I actually thought like you said and thought I dont want to drink too much because its all about the food!

In Australia we tip around 10% I guess it would be similar over there?

ElBulli is 220 Euros per person, not including tip. They have a very very extensive wine list with prices from low range to high range. What I actually did was only order one bottle of champagne and drank that the whole way through. I didn’t want to get too drunk and dull my tastebuds for the whole 34 courses.

You can drink great wine any time, but the food at elBulli is once in a lifetime. So if you’re on a budget, just lay low on the wine. The first 2 courses are “cocktails” anyway!
