I guess there is a reason why I’m flat broke. Not only did I purchase the 1982 Dom, I also bought the 1988 Chateau Mouton Rothschild. They were impeccably cellared from a deceased estate and they would make great additions to my ’secret collection’.

12 hour getaway
I only had Sunday off last week, so I did a 12 hour getaway to the Hunter with a few friends of mine. Ideally it would’ve been lovely to stay overnight, but an 8:30am meeting on a Monday morning didn’t help.
I booked a 2 bedroom apartment for my friends at Tonic Hotel which is in Lovedale....
Sauced up, Seaside
I am seeing a re-occuring theme – whenever the sun is shining, and I’m near the ocean… I’m automatically holding a drink in my hand. Last weekend was no different!

50ml vodka
2 dashes worcestershire sauce
4 dashes Tabasco sauce
Pinch salt and pepper
5ml fresh...

So many flavours in a bite!
Fresh basil, vine ripened tomatoes, prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella, with a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Takes 5 minutes to prepare… and so satisfying.
