Spreadmycheesysaltystickystuff?

After 85 years of pure unadulterated Vegemite, brand owner Kraft Foods is introducing a new variant of the iconic Australian spread. A new smoother version of the product has been launched, a combination of Vegemite, cream cheese and a secret ingredient. Kraft is calling on consumers to name the new product which will first appear on shelves bearing the label “Name Me”.

Omerta Wine Bar

The much awaited Omerta Wine bar finally opened its doors after the disappearance of Gastronomia Pelagio on Victoria St Darlinghurst. With the competition of Thomas Dux and Crown St grocer opening up nearby, the deli decided on an exit strategy and transformed the space into a beautiful wine bar. Under A Tavola’s chef Eugenio Maiale’s creation of what I think is the perfect wine bar menu, you cannot get a better grand entrance.

Robo-Chef : the next iron chef?

Check out this video of the future of Japan’s Robot chefs. The robot’s technique of slicing gerkins is questionable, wearing a sideways blue cap and matching apron.
