J’adore… Dom Perignon

After much thought, I’ve purchased this one for the cellar:

Vintage Dom Perignon 1982
It’s my birth year, and now that you all know how old I am… I plan to keep this til my 30th birthday.
Found this online – so very cute for all the people who actually know how to knit out there:

Five pages of full-on breakfast-time [...]

The inevitable has happened!

Many of you are very familiar with my highly indulgent eating habits. As you’ve been reading the sudden influx of updates on this blog lately, it correlates to a sudden influx of my food consumption (dining out).
I went for a blood test on Saturday morning – and since I hadn’t eaten anything before I arrived, Isa told me to [...]

What are your thoughts? A natural alternative to the commonly used Aspartame (Equal, Splenda - often rumored to be a carcinogen), launches in 2008 as the new calorie free sweetener by the company Cargill (view PR release here)

Everything in very tongue-in-cheek on the menus and the atmosphere is cheerful, casual and happy. Due to time constraints, we dug straight into the main course of the steaks with two bottles [...]

Toko vs Sushi-Ya

I finally found time to visit Toko in Surry Hills after hearing many great comments from friends and colleagues. The space is beautiful – the decor of sushi plate-esque yellow ceder wood against an ambience of warm, intimate surrounds filled with the noisy buzz of patrons. There are four main sections: The cocktail bar/lounge (a [...]

Celebrity guest chef Adrian Fowler returns to the Kitchen!
This was adapted from Gordon Ramsey’s recipe – Black Cod with garlic potato puree
